Event Description

Look for wildflowers on Cottonwood Pass and learn how these exquisite jewels of the plant world survive and thrive in one of the most inhospitable environments on earth.

Instructor: Marilyn Moore, GARNA Board Secretary, was a Master Gardner in Denver County for 17 years, a horticulture volunteer at Denver Botanic Gardens for 20 years, and co-leader for several wildflower hikes at the 2006 and 2007 Crested Butte Wildflower Festivals.

Times: For carpooling - 8:00 AM meet at parking lot just west of Salida Safeway, 8:45 AM at BV True Value Hardware on Hwy 24
9:30 AM at Cottonwood Pass Parking area
